  • Built-In Marketing Tools: Some systems offer email campaigns or patient acquisition features, but most organizations get better results from dedicated marketing platforms.
  • Gamification Elements: Features like badges or leaderboards for documentation compliance sound fun, but rarely motivate clinical staff or improve outcomes.
  • Extensive Custom Branding: Custom logos and color schemes may look nice, but they don’t impact usability or patient care.
  • Virtual Waiting Rooms: Digital check-in and waiting room features are often underused, especially in clinics with established in-person workflows.
